This guy lived for hiking and new the national forest like the back of his hand. The guy was an expert about the North Yorkshire moors and also the lake districts. He finally announces a releases date, and starts selling pre-sale DVDs and Blu Rays on his website. There’s also the sheer volume of missing persons cases that would qualify as especially strange. Because of this, no one even knows how many people are currently missing in parks.

And given the proximity to where he was found and the location of his car, it's kind of weird how he wasn't found even after a week of searching with scent hounds and trained professionals looking for him. 311guy1 Re: David Paulides Missing 411 « Reply 191 on: May 08, 2017, 12:12:45 PM » I helped back his Missing 411 movie on Kickstarter, almost 2 years ago to the month. The national parks service has no database where missing people are tracked across the system. But the post mortem turned out inconclusive, and they never determined a cause of death. A dog walker found his body about 5 months later in the woods not even far away from where his car was found. His mobile phone was left on top of his car, which obviously points in the direction of a planned suicide. Author of the series, David Paulides, is a private investigator who served as a Los Angeles police officer for over twenty years. His car was found in Harewood Dale near Scarborough. The Missing 411 books take a deeper look into these specific situations which seem to defy all logic.

Me and a friend went searching for him even after the official police search had finished. I actually found out about his disappearance on Facebook as I wanted to add him as a friend to ask him something about the lake district.

To cut a long story short, my former work mate went missing 3 years ago. Answer (1 of 2): Missing 411 is the name of a series of non-fiction books and a documentary movie by former police officer David Paulides and the team at CanAm Missing Project about people all over the world who have gone missing under strange and similar circumstances.
